Welcome in: here's how to use our site, whether you're an artist managing a catalog or a listener discovering something new.
1Import your catalog
The catalog tool is the reason Artisanal Indie exists — a place to track your metadata across every distributor or platform, so you always have your own record of it, independent of any single site.
- Scroll to the catalog section and click
Import listto open the paste-in panel. - Paste your track info as plain lines:
Title, Artist, ISRC, Source— one track per line. - Click
Add to trackerto bring them into your live table.

2Export anytime — no lock-in
This is the whole point: your data is never trapped here. Click Export CSV at any time to download your full tracker as a real, portable spreadsheet file — no account required, no waiting, no asking permission. Nothing exports automatically or in the background — the file only gets built the moment you click, entirely in your own browser, and nothing is ever sent to a server to make it happen.
3Curate as an artist
Everything in the "For Listeners & Fans" tab — replying with a track, browsing genres, building playlists — works exactly the same way for artists. There's no separate "artist mode" for discovery; you're a curator like anyone else the moment you post something.
4Sign up for early access

1Browse by genre
Every genre pill points at a real, verified playlist — nothing algorithmic deciding what you see.
Tap any genre to open its playlist right there on the page.
The playlist opens inline — no new tab, no leaving the page.
2Try the accessibility modes
Four display modes live in the same panel as the rest of the design — contrast is computed against real WCAG math for every one of them, not eyeballed.

3Listen to a dispatch
Dispatches are short write-ups linking to a track that already lives on Spotify, Bandcamp, YouTube, or SoundCloud. Tap the embed to play it in place.

4Reply with your own track
Anyone can reply to a dispatch with a track of their own — paste a link and the title gets pulled automatically, or just type it yourself.

5Build your own playlist
Add anything on the page to one of your own lists — music, video, or reading — then name it and get a real embed code back.
Tap the + to add a track to your list.
It confirms right away — no page reload.
Your list builds up right on the page as you go.
Name your list and save it to get a real, copyable embed code — something you can take with you.
