Last updated August 14, 2026. Plain-language where we can manage it — this isn't meant to bury you in legalese.
Artisanal Indie is a music and media discovery platform where curators — including you, if you submit something — share links to tracks, videos, and articles already hosted elsewhere (Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, and similar). We don't host the media itself. We also provide tools for artists to track and export their own catalog metadata.
Artisanal Indie is intended for users 18 and older. By creating an account or using the site, you're confirming you meet that requirement. We don't currently verify age at sign-up — this is a policy you're agreeing to, not something the site actively checks. Some embedded content (particularly from YouTube) may have its own separate age restrictions enforced by that platform directly, independent of anything on our end.
Anything you write on this platform — a bio, a note on a submitted track, a reply — needs to follow these ground rules:
Content you submit may be reviewed before or after it's visible to others. We can remove content, or restrict an account, if it violates these terms. We'll generally try to tell you why, though we may not always be able to explain every enforcement decision in detail (e.g. to avoid tipping off coordinated abuse).
If you see something on the platform that violates these terms — someone else's bio, a submission, anything — please report it. See the link at the bottom of this page, or email us directly.
We link to and embed content from third-party platforms (Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, etc.). We don't control that content and aren't responsible for it. Each platform has its own terms, which continue to apply to anything hosted there.
We may update these terms as the platform grows. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top.
Questions about these terms, or want to report something? Contact us, or email hello@artisanalindie.com directly.
